UFC Fight Night 65: Mark Hunt's goal is title fight in Australia

To fight for the world championship is the goal of every fighter who pursues a career in mixed martial arts. Getting an opportunity to do it in front of your hometown fans is the  the cherry on top. Mark Hunt fought for the heavyweight championship of the world at UFC 180 in November, but came up short in losing to interim champion Fabricio Werdum. Hunt won the first round and was winning the second when Werdum caught him with a knee and moments later, the fight was over. Petra Kvitova storms past Svetlana Kuznetsova to Madrid title

Petra Kvitova stormed to a second WTA Madrid Open title with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 win over Svetlana Kuznetsova. The two-time Wimbledon champion saw off Serena Williams in the semifinals and her irresistible form proved too much for Kuznetsova to handle. MORE: French Open preview | Murray marches to Madrid final, will face Nadal Despite beating Russian compatriot Maria Sharapova to reach the final, Kuznetsova was unable to scale those heights again, losing nine games in succession as her chances unraveled completely.  Kuznetsova held from 0-40 down in her opening service game, but she was unable to repeat the feat next as Kvitova took a 3-1 lead. A crunching forehand down the line after another Kuznetsova service game went to deuce gave Kvitova a second break and the Czech closed out a 6-1 triumph in an opening set where she lost only one point on her first serve. Bayern clinches Bundesliga title

It meant Pep Guardiola's team, which had beaten Hertha Berlin 1-0 Saturday, could not be caught with four rounds remaining. The title race looked set to be extended for another week, but Gladbach's German international striker Max Kruse scored a last-gasp 90th minute winner. It lifted them within four points of Wolfsburg in the battle for second spot. All-conquering Bayern has now won three straight German titles, with Guardiola in charge for the last two after leaving Barcelona. It is also still on course for the 2013 treble of European, German league and cup titles. Tuesday sees the Bavarian giants face Borussia Dortmund in the semifinal of the German Cup in the Allianz Arena. Further ahead is the Champions League semifinal clash against Guardiola's former club Barcelona, wiht the first leg on May 6 in the Nou Camp.
