NBA playoffs roundup: Hawks, Grizzlies draw even with big Game 2 wins

Once upon a time, center was the most important position in the NBA. Those days are long gone.  In today's NBA, it's all about the point guards. Over on the West Coast, the Grizzlies managed to tie their series with the Warriors as Mike Conley put together an extraordinary effort in his return from a gruesome eye injury.  Takeaway:  When the Wizards announced they'd be without Wall, it looked as if it should have been an easy win for the Hawks. Mike Conley's return keys Grizzlies' Game 2 win over Warriors

Warriors guard Stephen Curry may be the NBA's MVP, but Memphis' Mike Conley Jr. was the most important player in his team's 97-90 win over Golden State on Tuesday that tied the Western Conference semifinal series, 1-1.  Despite being listed as questionable heading into the game due to facial fractures, Conley returned to the floor and scored 22 points in Game 2, including a clutch 3-pointer in the fourth quarter that kept the momentum on Memphis' side.
