Five-star Georgia football commit to work out for MLB's Braves
Some guys just have it all. Months after signing to play football for Georgia, Terry Goodwin has received a MLB tryout offer from the Braves. He will work out for the Braves along with other high school prospects during a May 28 pre-draft camp. “He’s extremely athletic, as far as baseball goes,” Callaway baseball coach Dusty Hubbard told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “He is a plus-defender. He’s such an instinctual infielder and has a great arm.” At the plate, Goodwin is hitting .305 and has stolen 15 bases so far this season.
