That’s the tune Northern Kentucky will have come Monday when a university board votes to approve a conference move for all athletic teams, according to reports.

The move will complete NKU’s transition to a full Division I program, a process that started in 2008.

The Norse began its Atlantic Sun conference schedule in the fall of 2012.

The men’s basketball program was the NCAA Division II national runner-up in 1996 and 1997, while the women’s basketball team won the national championship in 2003 and 2008. The men’s soccer team owns the other national title in university history with a 2010 Division II championship.
