CALL TO THE 'PEN

Yimi Garcia was called on to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning on Monday, but he served up a two-run homer and allowed a total of five baserunners. It's unclear if Garcia will get another save chance, as Kenley Jansen (foot) is expected back this weekend. Manager Don Mattingly has said he won't immediately return to the closer's role, so Garcia is worth holding onto for the time being, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect much. ... Steve Cishek blew his second save chance in as many days, serving up a three-run walk-off homer to Scott Van Slyke. Cishek has blown four saves on the season and sports an unsightly 10.32 ERA and 2.03 WHIP. It seems likely that he'll be replaced soon, either temporarily because of a demotion or because of a DL-stint, which means A.J. Ramos should be picked up in all leagues. Mike Dunn is the only other realistic option in the ninth inning for Miami, but because he's one of two lefties in the Marlins' bullpen, it's likely he'll remain in a setup role. ... Despite reports before the game that Jason Grilli (back) would be available on Monday night, Jim Johnson got the call in the ninth in Atlanta's 2-1 win over the Reds. Johnson allowed a hit, but he escaped further damage en route to his second save. It's likely that Grilli will be back soon, but Johnson is worth keeping around until we actually see Grilli pitch again.

WEATHER WATCH

It should be a clear day around the league, as only the Royals-Rangers (39-percent chance of rain) and Cardinals-Indians (26) are in danger of seeing showers.
